I have been in the fitness industry since 2005 so that is now 11 years, in this time I have seen and done a lot of different methods to gain muscle and lose fat.

I have done endless hours of cardio, I have eaten white fish and green beans 7 times per day and other broscience CRAP!!!!

What came out of it???

A few things came out of it, it gave me an eating disorder, I became obsessed with food, and I didn’t go out with family and friends due to wanting to stay on my goals, all in all a very negative outcome!

This is very common throughout the fitness industry, people think you just need to eat these so called clean foods to get in shape. Most people think eating clean is the answer and they totally disregard thermodynamics!!

This getting lean game is not complicated, its basically calories in calories out!!!

As much as anybody out there tries to tell you otherwise they are either not educated enough or they just trying to sell you something!!

Now lets take a look at the general public, they have this perception that to get in shape they have to drastically change their life and eating habits to achieve their goals because of what they seen me and other people in the fitness industry do over the years, for that reason they never actually start it.

So they make all the excuses in the world, they blame it on their lack of genetics, slow metabolism, eating at the wrong times of the day, eating carbs, drinking alcohol, etc……

In my opinion both the general public and the so called fitness people are creating a recipe for disaster.

It’s very important to realize that the most important thing here is to have a controlled balance over food, training and lifestyle.

You can eat out with your friends and family, you don’t have to train 7 days per week, you don’t have to do endless hours of cardio to get in shape.

All you have to do is make sure you know the rule of thermodynamics and apply it.

Monitor your calories, monitor your activity and enjoy life, simple as that.

We monitor our finances so why not monitor our health???
